We're introducing 2 Guest Designers this week!

(For The Joy of Creating)

Getting to know Esther:

I am Esther Porter and I love crafting, I have been creating in one form or another since I was a very little girl painting rocks to look like ladybugs. While I enjoy almost all forms of crafting, paper crafting has become my passion ! I love crafting so much my husband remodeled a room in my house into a craft room, complete with cabinets, counters, peg board, etc.  It is where you will find me whenever I have free time. I have been married almost 25 years and have 2 beautiful daughters and 2 precious grandchildren. The only child living at home (other than my husband) is my 9 year old poodle, Jacquette, whom I love dearly.  I enjoy hiking, camping and waterskiing; but most of all I like to create!

I want to thank the gals at Card Patterns for giving me the honor of being a guest designer for this weeks challenge! I had a ball creating a card from this sketch and hope I share a little inspiration with you!

And this is Esther's beautiful take on the sketch:

Next up is........

I Wanna Build a Memory

Getting to know Tracy:
My name is Tracy MacDonald and I've been making cards for about a year now.  I have always done some kind of crafting, but got involved in the online crafty world about a year and a half ago as a mini scrapbook album maker.  I share those on my YouTube channel along with several tutorials.  I've become addicted to Copic Markers and my kitchen table always looks like a craft store has exploded on it--just ask my indulging sweet hubby of 25 years and my 20 year old daughter.  I am honored to have been asked to Guest Design for Card Patterns and I hope you like my take on this week's sketch.

This is Tracy's fabulous take on the sketch:

Sketch 112

Good morning ladies! Brand new week, brand new sketch created by our very talented Nina Brackett! Hope you all like it because the team had a blast creating this one!

We have a brand new sponsor this week.

Almost all of their images can be purchased in digital format. And just like any great beauty bag, Paper Makeup Stamps carries lots of essentials and accessories to simplify and beautify your card-making! So browse around and do a one stop shop!

We're so excited to introduce you to

My name is Anna-Karin and I have been doing arts and crafts my whole life, but papercrafting is the one that has totally captured my heart and mind. I have been making cards since 2002, when I got the idea of making my own Christmas cards. It turned out to be a brilliant idea and cardmaking has given me numerous hours of fun since then. I also scrapbook and enjoy switching between the differently sized spaces of a card and a scrapbooking layout. Stamps are my absolute favorite tools and I love creating something using only white paper, stamps, and ink. I especially enjoy trying out new and old techniques, to experiment and try different products and tools. The possibilities are truly endless.

My husband is always willing to give suggestions and pick out cards to send to family and friends. We have a little boy who is just over a year and already knows what you are supposed to do with a stamp. None of his toys can beat a wood-mounted stamp. I am very happy to be a guest designer at Card Patterns!

And here's what our cool team came up with the sketch.

Getting to know Vicky:

Colour, pattern and texture inspire me to design the cards I’ve struggled to find in the shops. As an escapee from the world of software development, I enjoy having the time to create and contribute to design teams and challenge blogs.

I love experimenting with new techniques and adding texture and depth to cards and projects, using ribbon, lace and stitching.

I live in the UK with my husband and our teenage son. My other pastimes include gardening, dressmaking and home dƩcor.

Vicky's take on the sketch.
